This tool exists because Microsoft Outlook 365 web cannot correctly handle Unicode characters pasted from Microsoft Copilot. When you copy text containing curly quotes, em dashes, or other typographic characters from one Microsoft 365 application and paste it into another, Outlook mangles the character encoding, producing mojibake (corrupted text like ’ instead of '). This cleaner fixes Microsoft's encoding incompetence so you can use plain text that actually works across systems.
